Avocado Lime Pudding

If your kid likes avocado, chances are they will love this healthy, fast and easy snack. Avocado has become a popular first food for babies in recent years due to its smooth texture and positive health benefits. This bright green colored fruit is low in sugar and high in good fat making it an optimal food for a child’s growth and brain development. According to Medical News Today avocado is packed with vitamins like, K, C, B9, B6 and B5. They are also a great source of potassium, which is good for your heart. Lime, which has Vitamin C, is the other ingredient in this healthy snack. The University of Maryland Medical Center states that it is a necessary nutrient that helps repair damaged cell tissue and nourish our bones and teeth.

What you will need:
2 Ripe avocados  

1 Lime

4 Teaspoons of confectioners sugar, less or more to taste
or for babies over 1 year you can use honey

A blender

Start Blending:
Combine all ingredients in the blender

Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

For babies under a year you can substitute sugar and lime juice with 1 banana. Enjoy and feel free to share your comments.
